As REALTORS®, we understand that schools are an important part of what makes a community a place people want to call home. Supporting classroom instruction, student safety, and educational opportunities is an investment in Middleton’s families and long-term future.
After a recommendation of support from the Government Affairs Committee and Board of Directors approval, Canyon County Regional REALTORS® has requested $1,000 in RPAC funds from Idaho REALTORS® to support the Yes for Middleton Schools campaign.
The proposed levy would provide $1.5 million annually for two years—a total of $3 million. Funding would support teachers and classified staff, school security and resource officers, curriculum materials, transportation, and technology. The district’s priorities include restoring activity transportation and previously reduced bus routes, restoring elementary school security guards, and updating math curriculum.
The district estimates the levy’s annual cost at $31 per $100,000 of taxable property value. For a property with a taxable value of $300,000, that would be approximately $93 per year. Taxable value may differ from market value, and actual taxes may vary. Learn more on the district’s supplemental levy information page.
